Simply Provincial started as a rebellion against the bland, the boring, and the temporary.

I grew up wrapped in clothes made by my mother and grandmothers; pieces that had a soul and a story. Eventually, I realised I didn't want to just buy clothes anymore; I wanted to build a dreamland wardrobe I could escape to, and then I decided to share that dream with you.

Dressing for the Female Gaze

We don’t design for "flattering" in the traditional sense. We design for the female gaze. We create the kind of whimsical silhouettes and "weird" charming details that men might not understand, but that make you feel like the main character in your own story. These are pieces designed to make you feel giddy; that hit of dopamine the moment you button them up.

• The Maker's Touch: You can see the care in every piece; from the bows made by hand and hand-cut scallops to the buttons sewn by hand.

To bring this dreamland to life, we partner with small studios and boutique factories. This isn't mass production; it’s a small-batch partnership. By working with specialised teams, we ensure every garment maintains that "human hand" feel while supporting fair workspaces that value the art of the craft as much as we do.
